Vitamine C

Vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate) is a naturally occurring, water-soluble derivative of vitamin C. It is the most stable form of vitamin C, meaning it doesn't oxidize. It's an antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals, reducing oxidative stress, effectively slowing down the aging process, and delaying the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. SAP has the ability to penetrate the epidermis without causing irritation. We all know that UVA and UVB radiation from sun exposure can lead to degenerative effects that accelerate the aging process. Fortunately, SAP has the capability to scavenge free radicals and oxygen species, rendering them harmless. SAP is an active ingredient that provides protection against UV damage and enhances the photoprotective properties of sunscreen creams. This means it prevents sunburn and reinforces the protective effect of sunscreens. Similar to a tyrosinase inhibitor, SAP also has skin-lightening properties by inhibiting melanin production. A natural acne fighter.
